There must be a gap of at least 300mm between the rear of the base and any physical barrier and 600mm at the side. (This is so that I can fit between to put the cladding on).

The base can be narrower than the width of the hut due to the chunky joists underneath. These can cantilever over the edge of the base (which makes the hut look slightly like its hovering).

Once the cladding is on, the gap between the side of the hut and any hedge or wall will be just under 300mm (due to the bulging curvature of the sides).
